The Brief
Design a youthful and contemporary high-end hostel inspired by the locality. Areas had to be flexible with the ability to close spaces off to allow the hostel to expand and contract during events.

The Design
Following a workshop with the hostel’s key stakeholders, we re-designed multiple areas: the breakfast area, cinema, reception, bar, café, restaurant, and smoking area. The furniture and fittings were inspired by the locality.

The Outcome
A youthful, inviting space with a local flair to entice and accommodate travellers and locals alike.
