The Brief
Design a cafe and retail space where visitors can relax and reflect after visiting the Witness History exhibition celebrating the centenary of the Irish Republic at the GPO in central Dublin.

The Design
We utilised the natural light that floods the space from the glass walls overlooking the courtyard. Colours were kept to a minimum to create an open and refreshing space within this historic building. The dark-stained flooring is in keeping with the antiquated nature of the building, while the use of a contemporary shade of green reflects modern Dublin.

The Outcome
The retail and cafe design that is in synergy with the exhibition space to engage with the tourism market.
