The Brief
To create restful and relaxing installations that enhanced the staff’s daily experiences and gave them time away from devices and computer screens.
The Design
The design incorporates Irish heritage, nature, and LinkedIn’s cultures and values. Throughout the building, the graphics and installations reference parts of trees and how they relate to LinkedIn’s cultural tenets. It starts with seeds in the basement and progresses to fruit on the top floor with all the parts of the tree in between – the roots, trunk, branches, flowers and leaves.
The Reception
The reception area features a tree-like paper canopy. This is activated by movement and weather changes and represents growth and development.
The Underbridges
We designed a backlit pattern that was cut into the atrium bridges. This pattern incorporates the ancient Ogham alphabet, which relates to trees and plants.
The Outcome
The graphics and installations create a cohesive, restful and engaging experience for the Linkedin staff.
