How We Designed 4WP LinkedIn Dublin: Bespoke Environmental Graphics and Sculptural Installations

LinkedIn's newest Dublin campus at 4 Wilton Park presented a rare opportunity: to design a complete environmental graphic identity for a landmark building from the ground up.

The brief called for a comprehensive scheme of environmental graphics, wayfinding, and sculptural installations that would extend the visual language established across the wider Wilton Park development while giving the new building a distinct character of its own.

Our starting point was "Better Together" - a building-wide narrative connecting culture, and sense of place with LinkedIn's global values. For 4 Wilton Park, we developed this into a distinct theme for every floor, each one linked to a specific LinkedIn value and expressed through graphics, installations, naming, and storytelling.

Designing from a shared narrative

Every design decision on this project began with theme. Seven floors, seven themes, moving from ground level up: Global Collective, The Power of Compassion, Inclusion Hub, Creativity Connects, Boundless Knowledge, Canal Commons, and Sky Is the Limit - each one identifying forms, textures, and colour relationships that could be translated into its own graphic language.

These themes were then filtered through references to Dublin itself - the winding path of the canals, the rhythm of the city's streets, the warmth of Irish hospitality and conversation. The result is a visual vocabulary that shifts floor by floor while remaining recognisably one building.

The sculptural installations take this further, translating two-dimensional graphic motifs into three-dimensional forms that cast shadows, catch light, and change character throughout the day.

Sculptural Installations

The sculptural elements were designed in close collaboration with specialist fabricators, pushing the boundaries of what is achievable in an office environment. Each piece is unique to its location within the building, responding to the specific architecture, scale, and theme of its floor.

Environmental Graphics

The graphic system extends across every surface - walls, floors, ceilings, and glazing - carrying each floor's theme through to room naming, so the language of a space is consistent from the largest gesture down to the smallest detail.

Another successful delivery for LinkedIn

4 Wilton Park is the latest in a series of environmental graphic design packages Seek Design has delivered for LinkedIn, with projects spanning Dublin, wider Europe, and the USA. Each one has called for the same balance: a distinct identity for the space itself, built within a narrative that stays true to LinkedIn as a brand.

At 4WP, that meant carrying "Better Together" through every floor - a shared story told differently at every turn, but recognisably LinkedIn throughout.
